Willian has reportedly assured Chelsea that he would remain committed to them until the completion of the current campaign, which has been delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Willian’s current deal effectively concludes at the end of next month but he has assured the Blues’ hierarchy that he would be willing to sign a short-term deal until the end of the season.
Spurs have been reckoned as the favourites to sign him due to the presence of former Blues head coach Jose Mourinho with whom he has a good relationship.
A move to the Gunners, however, cannot be ruled out, given Willian also shares a close bond with compatriot David Luiz. The duo co-own a restuarant in the English capital.
